Introduction
Located in Geneva, this 294 m² apartment is undergoing a partial renovation project.
Our mission is to rethink key spaces to create a sustainable reading experience adapted to the lifestyle of the new owners.
Extending the kitchen and opening it up to the living room were the main challenges. The office and guest rooms became modular spaces, and the hallways were redesigned for better circulation to accommodate the new project. Each space reflects meticulous work with materials and particular attention to detail and finishes.
This project illustrates our approach to high-end interior architecture. We guide each decision with usage in mind, the client's aspirations, and the pursuit of overall aesthetic harmony.
From analysis to execution
At Scilla Architectural DesignWe guide each project with a rigorous methodology, ensuring complete control of the renovation process. From the initial analysis to the final result, through complementary phases that guarantee consistency and quality. We have ensured the administrative follow-up and accompanied the project owner in the APA application, in collaboration with the architectural firm BE Workshop.
Initially, the phase of design et preliminary studies marks the starting point of the project. It begins with a precise survey of the existing situation, allowing plans to be drawn up and analyzed, in parallel with meetings with all future stakeholders.
We have precisely defined the client's needs, as well as the budget and deadlines required for this project, allowing us to establish an initial set of specifications, placing the project on a clear and controlled trajectory.
This phase continues with a study of the layout of the wine cellar, the kitchen, the office and the living room.
Next comes the phase draftShe translates the analyses into concrete architectural proposals through the design of bespoke elements. These choices take shape through the development of dimensioned technical drawings, integrating 2D plans and elevations, to guarantee consistency of volumes and uses.
We consult with craftsmen and coordinate the necessary technical aspects up to the start of production. The deliverables for this stage—3D rendering, mood board, specifications—complement the 2D plans and elevations.

The construction phase will involve bringing the project to fruition on the ground. We will visit the site weekly to coordinate the various contractors. We will carefully monitor the conformity of the materials and the quality of the installed finishes. The acceptance of the joinery and furniture will be part of this rigorous monitoring, as will the continuous verification of adherence to the established schedule and budget.
The phase will conclude with the handover of the site in the presence of the companies and the project owner, followed by the establishment of the inventory of fixtures, marking the complete delivery of the project.
