Awakening a dormant website
A project to renew the professional website CTN where Scilla Architectural Design employs a progressive and rigorous approach, structured in three phases: concept, support for project implementation, and execution monitoring. The objective is to transform a technical and functional system into a more legible, coherent space that remains true to its graphic identity.
Located in Plan-Les-Ouates, Geneva, the site connects several buildings and common areas where employees and visitors interact daily. Balancing clarity and continuity, the ongoing project seeks to reveal the site's inherent logic, simplify its uses, and restore a harmonious atmosphere.
From diagnosis to control
Since March 2025, the first steps have helped to affirm and realize the founding vision of the place.
The concept phase allowed us to define a suitable and measured response, based on a meticulous survey of the existing conditions and a thorough analysis of critical points and needs. Each element was assessed to determine what should be retained, adapted, or removed. Initial interventions focused on signage, painted finishes, minor repairs, highlighting the staircase, and initial acoustic treatments.
Under the client's guidance, a close dialogue was established to refine the scope of action and clarify the objectives. The deliverables included an illustrated diagnostic, mood boards, a plan of intent, and a functional program, the true foundations for the next phase.
The second phase naturally extends the foundations laid and translates the initial intention into concrete and operational solutions.
Tenders were issued, accompanied by comparative analyses incorporating costs and deadlines, to ensure controlled implementation.
Key interventions include: the installation of totems and directional signs, the repainting, the enhancement of the staircase and the integration of carefully designed sound-absorbing panels.
The third phase of the project will soon be on the horizon, promising the transition from concept to built reality.
